Stop Motion Comments

I didn't enjoy this assignment since i have no creativity even if i did have creativity i don't have the motivation to back up this creativity, The comments my peers give me are positive and constructive comments such as

but i wouldn't change my animation in anyway as per suggested even though people said the work felt rushed.

I quite like the way it reflects my lazy and carefree atitude towards the work and life. But other people don't seem to think so, Then again everyone is a critic

Change + New idea

The Change

This lesson i have changed my idea for pixilation from the camera flashs going off to someone dancing like the "wrecking crew"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=-Rot9uaVO8s#t=67s
I want to try and emulate that part of the video where they start moving without actually moving,"oh dear I have got distracted again and wandered off" <--- Kevin Trundley typed with disappointment. I plan to use music for the video it wont be the full track of the music it will be about 60 seconds give or take

Character
Dancer = Me

Story board
Its just me dancing its hard to put into a story board

Ideas + Planning for my own animation

This post is about my ideas and research to create my very own stop motion animation, there is a few animations technquies and styles along with the people who made them. The first animator i will be looking at is Georges Méliès, The reason i am going to be looking at George Melies is because i really find his videos to be amazing for something that was created in the early 20th century. As much as a i love his work i will be leaning towards the pixilation side of animation from such works as Neighbours By Norman Mclaren, The reason i am thinking of doing this is because its easy to setup and do, My idea is for a person with a camera to use the cameras flash and when the flash goes off and then he will end up in weird postions (None seuxal) of course and turn into other people. The characters i will using for animation will be people in my class if they so desire to partake in helping me, There will be no story or plot it will just be a random animation involving a lot of randomness.

Story board
N1 standing with a camera -> points camera towards the screen -> Flash goes off -> Ends up with a hat on his head -> N1 has a shocked look on his face -> Another flash goes off -> N1 disappears and turns into N2 -> N2 has a shocked look on his face -> Flash goes off -> N2 ends up in a different room without his hat -> N3 who is also in the room fights N2 for the camera and wins -> Flash goes off -> N3 and the rest of the N's appear they then bow -> FIN

Characters
I wont be using characters i will be using people in my class or would they be considered characters? Anyway N1 will be James, N2 will be me, N3 will be kevin

Background
I will be using various backgrounds MAC room and the video editing room.

Audio
There wont be any musical audio in the video, I will be using audio for certain parts of the video liked the shocked part of the video and for the flash i will be using a flash audio effect
